Great Product for copying/restoring SQL Databases
What do you like best about the product?
Able to restore SQL Databases to different servers
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this time. Would be nice to copy/restore multiple Databases at one time

Keeps getting better in 9.5
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam as a backup product is fully featured and reasonable fast. Support has been very responsive and knowledgeable in resolving any issues.
The 9.5 release has increased my backup speed by over 75% compared to the 9.0 release and their various best practice guidelines have allowed me to gain even more performance.
SureBackup takes awhile to configure, but being able to view my backups being restored into an isolated environment and ensure they boot allowed me to feel even more comfortable that the solution is sound.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a view when restoring to look at a particular folder or file and scroll backwards through the restore points to find when a file or folder was updated or missing. Often users will report a file missing sometime in the last week, and we have to manually select a date, navigate through all of folder structure, and if it isn't there, then we have to select another restore point and then navigate through the structure again. That slows down our response time to locate the proper backup
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
General file backup and disaster recovery are both covered by Veeam. Our typical restore scenario is a file corrupt or missing and needing it restored, but sometimes an entire VM is needed to be restored, which only takes a few minutes.

Veeam is easy to setup and be productive with backups. Veeam is always adding new options and free features.

I have not found any issues that I did like with VEEAM

Ease of backups. Our old Backup system would fail constantly with our virtual servers

Time between patches and hotfixes. Issues about scheduling backup Copys in the weekend.

Great VMWare Backup Product
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam has worked great for our backup needs. We run hourly replications on two separate VMWare Servers to a "Replication Server." Veeam handles this with no problem. Veeam was very easy to set up and to use on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not currently have anything negative to say about Veeam. We have used it's Restore features without issue when testing and in live environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the rigorous backup requirements that we have. Veeam handles the type of backups and replications that we require and more. I have realized how important backup products are and how important it is that the products do what they say they will (which Veeam does.)

We like how easy it is to protect machines and restore them in either lab or production environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would prefer more non-partner requirements for saving to offsite repositories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliance and business continuity. The ability to actually test our recovery efforts.
Quick, easy, and does what it says.
What do you like best about the product?
Integration into our current VMWare environment. With Veeam One and B&R, I get a nice single pane of glass view for our virtualization environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of features for Office 365. Needs to be a way in the UI to tell what the original backup block size was, i.e. LAN, WAN, DAS optimization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster backup times, even with increased amounts of data. Being able to have backups both onsite and offsite without significant performance hits to our internet connections.
