What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool for deep diving API requests the merchant needs help with troubleshooting. It allows us to provide the proper white glove service we provide from our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requests can take a long time to load if there is a lot of data to sift through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
API requests, time outs or latency issues.

Useful platform for managing system wide logs
What do you like best about the product?
- Allows me to look at logs from different services in our stack and understand how issues propagate across our component systems
- Has changed our workflow to proactively implement better monitoring and verification before big deploys

- Attempts to log you out very quickly when not focused on the tab
- Sometimes hard to configure services/middlewares to build nested JSON in ways that don't require multiple parsing steps

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a developer, I've used Sumo for both incident response and for logging application data. For example, we can route HTTP safe requests to multiple versions of an endpoint and log any unexpected differences in Sumo, helping us ensure quality before deploying major changes or deprecations. I'd say it's a central part of my workflow now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get buy in from multiple users and communicate by sending Sumo queries as answers to questions to encourage use.

The query language that makes the log fetch very easy

Slow parsing that makes the alering orettu slow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloudmontior akamai logs. Flexible and highly available
Helped in visualizing and finding potential bugs in the system by systematic logs
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to separate out your searched and rename them based on the search is a nice feature to have. Also, the live tail feature comes in very handy when you want to perform a constant monitoring of the logs being generated.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of complexity in searching for a particular source category. Also, the need to use receipt time for ordering of the logs is a big no.
Also, the time it takes to show the log is time consuming. Also, on page refresh, the logs shown are not updated in case of last 15 minutes and show the logs of then last 15 minutes

Mostly used for logging and analyzing the logs in case of deployments and production bugs but also in analysis.

Sumo Logic is Best
What do you like best about the product?
Sumo Logic is very huge and there are so many things you could do, write your own queries, share queries and get t he desired output using various conditions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Result should be more human understandable, and it should highlighted so for these who just know basics of Sumo Logic it will be easier for them to understand. Log Analysis should be more easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its very much beneficial for initial troubleshooting where we few clicks you know the root cause of the problem.

Allows me to review logs and errors for grade passback functionality.

It can be a bit slow at times. Not super intuitive.

Trouble shooting grade pass back to student information systems.

Log for services for my company. Good report. It is very important for us to find the issue from tons of logs

I really like the simplicity to build dashboards and drill down on data with filters.

I would love the feature to view two or more graphs stacked on top of each other, as to easily compare related queries

What do you like best about the product?
Multiple devs can have easy access to application logs and filter for transaction ids or filter by component.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think while the past searchs are helpful, its a bit clunky

We mainly use it to debug our applications for code errors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Setup may take some time and extra work but lots of time will be saved later when debugging or dong analytics.

I like all the help that is available by the support team. Also, once you know about all the powerful functions, it can make work a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The docs could be a little more organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm monitoring my back end services. Adding dashboards saves a lot of time.
