Datadog Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the gui is user friendly, theres alot about datadog that is easy to use. The search bar is pretty helpful when looking fro items, theres alot that can br brought into datadog. New features always available
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation on setting things up i feel like is a little hard to understand. Sometomes we figure out that we need an upgrade to use the next feature but the docs dont necessarily say that. Theres alot that chnages from one version to the next it would be nice for there to be a guide
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We integrate with third parties and it keeps and track record of all the errors that we get from them so we can have more eyes and get them before our users. We also are integrating with out servers and databases to see performances and metrics on them to make sure everything is running as needd

What do you like best about the product?
datadog provides massive amounts of data to generate insights into your system health. the support around datadog is fantastic, as there is always someone to share their time and experience with you.
What do you dislike about the product?
while it is great for looking at metrics, i feel it lacks use for business monitoring. i would like more direct database queries to provide real time response situations for failures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
reviewing insight on our hardware usage to help us scale our trade systems appropriately.

What do you like best about the product?
Datadog has a multitude of useful features and integrations for our applications, from metrics and monitoring, to dashboards and cost optimization.
Our dedicated support team is readily available to assist us in adoption of any new features and tools for our applications.
Many of the monitoring and observability tools offered by the platform are easily integrated into our applications, especially those migrated to Kubernetes.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are not as easily navigable and intuitive as one would hope; fortunately, our dedicated DataDog team is receptive to such feedback and always offers alternative solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Datadog solves many of our issues around aggregated metrics and logging, as well as the ability to trace our data completely through the system (whether that is through using native Datadog log tracing, or "in-house" log tracing).
Many of our apps are deployed on Kubernetes, and Datadog provides many useful out-of-the-box features that the team can use.

Monitoring at it's BEST
What do you like best about the product?
Datadog allows both Devs and Ops team to collaborate and make our work easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, have not used Datadog much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have implemented datadog for monitoring our Kuubernetes cluster which have helped to find the issues sooner.

Hard to find material for each specific case. Would like to see more examples how to work with different types of OS, different types of logs. Would like to see a separate session on the best tagging approach, to be able to link traces, logs, issues, etc.

Metrics, logging and APM support - very effective dashboarding.

Documentation isn't aways clear - and can take some time to engage support effectively.

At a view glance of the overall health of our platforms with the ability to drill down and diagnose issues when they inevitably occur.
