HYCU - Simple, yet Powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Its simplicity and robust security (with its appliance model). The Customer Success and Post Sales support teams are also excellent. Ease of Implementation, deployment and maintenance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Windows Hyper-V or physical servers works but is a little clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backup has become more of a compliance and governance tool now. HYCU has made this additional service work really well and added features like archiving. Their integration with Nutanix CFT has also sped up file server backups to lightning speed. I also know that if we have other projects in the future like Cloud Migration or public cloud backups, I can add this without adding to the complexity

What do you like best about the product?
At ET Works we have been designing, selling and implementing HYCU solutions to end customers globally for many years. They provide enterprise grade backup technology with a strong feature set, at a sensible price. A fantastic team and technology that I would happily recommend to anyone- especially those that want to combine it with a Nutanix estate, which is an example of where HYCU really excels.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints- enterprise technology solutions are not trivial and the team at HYCU are flexible and supportive if there are ever any issues or complexities (which are rare!)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use HYCU to provide an enterprise grade backup solution to our clients
Great and easy "plug and play"
What do you like best about the product?
the ablity to take all your nutanix VMS out from nutanix clusters AHV and compress the size and save alot of space on the backup machines.
What do you dislike about the product?
downsides are no storage at the hycu machine need a connection to external \internal storage connection.

Easy to use Backup Software
What do you like best about the product?
Firstly, how easy the software is to use, and then also that our Customer Success Engineer takes the necessary time to answer all our questions and make the integration and implementation of the functions we need as easy as possible.

Actually we are wery happy with the solution

What do you like best about the product?
Customer service and the fact that the product is user friendly. The customer service provided by Christopher Todd and Zivka Zoey Stankovic from the HYCU team was impecable. I appreciate all the help and the fact that the took from their time to ensure that we had proper coverage and clear any confusions.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far we have not had issues with the HYCU product or customer service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have the ability to restore our VM's or Physical equipment software at any point established. We have been able to perform this multiple times without any issues.

It is very user friendly and has a simple interface. The implementation was quick and easy. The support is allways quick on reply and could help in every case we had.

Some special functions are not that easy to found.

It is solving the problem, that we dont have to search for an other way to sync our backups to the cloud to have a third solution for backup storage.

HYCO needs to push more with nutanix to grab more business

HYCU's immutable backups act as a
fail-safe against data manipulation; without it, your backup
integrity is at risk, leaving critical data open to undetected
tampering and potential corruption.

The absence of the possibility to position different policies depending on the disks can be penalizing.
