For regions outside of North America, the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Extended Life Cycle Support (ELS) add-on offering for RHEL 7 on AWS provides access to security patches and updates once RHEL 7 enters the end of maintenance phase on June 30, 2024. Compared to previous major releases, ELS for RHEL 7 expands the scope of security fixes by including updates that address important Common Vulnerabilities and Exceptions (CVEs). It also includes maintenance for RHEL for SAP Solutions (including S4/HANA) and RHEL High Availability and Resilient Storage add-ons. ELS for RHEL 7 will be available for up to 4 years, through June 30, 2028. ELS for RHEL 7 is based on the last minor release, RHEL 7.9, therefore users must be on RHEL 7.9 to use ELS for RHEL 7.
For the EMEA regions, Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security Cloud Service for Kubernetes provides a Kubernetes-native architecture for container security, enabling DevOps and InfoSec teams to operationalize full life cycle container and Kubernetes security.
For EMEA regions, Red Hat® Ansible® Automation Platform (RHAAP) is an end-to-end automation platform to configure systems, deploy software, and orchestrate advanced workflows. It includes resources to create, manage, and scale across the entire enterprise and your AWS cloud. Ansible provides a differentiated user experience to start automating and managing AWS resources and your broader IT ecosystems of resources and applications. The listing is a subscription for Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. It is subscription only and and is meant to be used with an instance of Ansible deployed on your AWS infrastructure following the standard guide for deploying Ansible following sizing guidelines. It can also be installed with an operator on Red Hat OpenShift on AWS (ROSA), or on OpenShift running directly on AWS infrastructure.
For EMEA regions, Red Hat Enterprise Linux for Third Party Linux Migration with ELS (Extended Life Cycle Support) provides an easy path for users of CentOS Linux and other select Linux distributions to move to Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7. This offering provides access to all RHEL 7 content, including High Availability and Convert2RHEL tooling that assists with the in-place conversion of instances running on another rpm-based Linux distribution. It also provides access to security patches and updates, via ELS, until June 2028, giving users four additional years after the CentOS Linux 7 EOL date (June 30, 2024) to plan their migration to a more current release of RHEL.
For regions outside of North America, Quay.io is a hosted container image registry service that enables customers to store and serve their containerized software and cloud-native artifacts without managing a globally available registry. It features integration into git providers, vulnerability reporting in real-time for OS and programming language packages inside the images, a rich permission model, a flexible image lifecycle, a comprehensive API, and strong tenant isolation. Quay.io is serving image content via global content delivery networks with high uptime and is a fully managed service provided by Red Hat. A flexible pricing model is available and aligned with the amount of non-public image repositories.
