Asana is the operating system for human-agent teams and where an organization's humans and agents run critical workflows from a shared plan, with shared memory, backed by enterprise-grade governance.
Asana's Agentic Work Management brings AI Teammates, Asana Dash, AI Studio, MCP and AI Connectors together - so your team and your agents can run critical workflows, together.
Real-time cross-application insights are seamlessly transformed into coordinated action, supported by AI assistants operating with the same visibility, accountability, and organizational context as human team members. Built on a shared system with enterprise-grade security and governance, this is architecturally impossible on platforms without a structured work model.
Together with Amazon Quick, Asana bridges the gap between AI-driven insights and execution. Jointly developed by AWS and Asana, this agentic solution combines Amazon Quick's connected intelligence with Asana's Work Graph and AI platform eliminating the gap between data, decisions, and doing the work.
The result is measurable business impact at every level of the organization: from 9x faster launches to 90% reduction in manual coordination time helping customers go from insight to outcome faster than ever before.
Highlights
Command by Asana - Ship faster with humans and agents in sync - Coding agents only work as well as the context they're given, and today that context sits in Slack threads, docs, and meeting notes the agent never sees. Command by Asana puts planning and execution in the same place so developers and agents can work together to ship higher quality code, faster.
Asana Service Management - One AI-native Enterprise Service Management for IT, HR, Facilities, and legal - Existing service platforms added AI on top of infrastructure that wasn't built to move fast. The bottleneck was never intelligence, it was the data layer. Asana Service Management orchestrates work across business functions with context intact, so requests resolve faster.
Asana Client Management - One place for every client, every project, every conversation. In most legacy platforms, client management lives in one tool, project delivery in another, and AI in a third. Bolting AI onto a system that can't see the client relationship means every output needs rework before it's usable. Asana Client Management holds the work, the client feedback, and the history behind both, so AI has something to actually work from.

You buy annual license packs at three tiers, each sold in fixed bundle sizes. The Starter bundle covers 200 licenses for teams building project plans. The Advanced bundle covers 100 licenses for managing work across initiatives. The Enterprise bundle covers 100 licenses for organizations needing centralized visibility, control, and support. Each tier builds on the one below it, so Advanced adds to Starter capabilities and Enterprise adds to Advanced. Pricing scales by the number of licenses in each pack and the tier you choose. All licenses run on a yearly term.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one license for billing across these tiers?
One license equals one user seat. Each person who needs to access and edit work uses one license. External guests do not consume a license and can join at no added cost. You buy licenses in fixed packs: 200 for Starter, 100 for Advanced, and 100 for Enterprise.
What do the Advanced and Enterprise tiers add on top of the tier below?
Advanced builds on Starter by adding portfolios, goals, approvals, proofing, time tracking, and business intelligence connections. Enterprise builds on Advanced by adding single sign-on, user provisioning, universal workload, capacity planning, service accounts, and view-only licenses. Each tier includes everything from the tier beneath it.
What is not included in these license packs and may cost extra?
Some capabilities sit outside the base license. Timesheets and budgets are a separate add-on. Compliance management and permissions management are add-ons on Enterprise. AI Studio includes basic credits per tier, but higher usage requires paid credit options. These extras are not part of the annual license packs.

I love that Asana is easy to use and can be customized for different views. Multi-homing tasks across teams and projects is fantastic. The reporting feature helps us see patterns in requests, themes, or owners. The grouping filter is useful for organizing projects across teams, making responsibilities clear. I enjoy that you can adjust the view from board to list to timeline, which suits individual or team needs. Asana integrates with many tools, and I can set up automations that make our lives easier and keep everyone in the loop. Automations are my favorite, saving time by ensuring tasks are done correctly.

Asana Made Workflow Customization and Automated Dashboards Effortless
Reviewed on Sep 14, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What do you like best about Asana? I like Asana for its simplicity and ease of use, which makes it really straightforward to customize workflows to suit our needs. The integration with tools like Teams Calendar helps by providing timely reminders to keep everyone in sync. Also, the AI feature is a big plus for enhancing project creation and setting up rules. The platform's ability to give comprehensive project updates is valuable to keep the team aligned and informed. Another thing I love about Asana is its capability to create dashboards automatically, which is incredibly useful for presentations and tracking goals. It's very easy to set up due to its SaaS nature, and I'd rate its setup process a 10 out of 10. Overall, Asana has replaced our Excel sheets for project tracking, offering automation that wasn't available before, like adding tasks directly from Outlook, and the ability to track projects' alignment with our overall goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel the time tracking feature, especially on tasks, could be improved. I'd like something that works like a Pomodoro app or feature, so it would be great to see how long tasks take and if they're billable or non-billable. Having this in a single pane of glass instead of shifting from app to app would be a big improvement. Also, while integrating with Toggle, sometimes the import doesn't work well because the projects tend to be a bit disparate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana simplifies project tracking from initiation to handover. Its integration with tools like Teams and Outlook keeps my team in sync. Plus, automation replaces manual Excel updates, helps manage tasks and enhances project creation, while dashboards link projects to goals and assist in executive reporting.

Boosts Team Accountability and Efficiency
Reviewed on Sep 11, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Asana's project management tools. They're great for holding myself and my team accountable, which boosts our efficiency. The calendar feature and the list view are the ones I've used the most, and I find them particularly useful. I also like that I can assign tasks to team members and communicate directly through Asana. The reminders and notifications are really helpful, especially since work can get overwhelming with all the emails. After some training, I found it more user-friendly and effective for everyday work and team collaboration. Transitioning from Google tools, it's nice to have everything we need in one platform with Asana. Overall, it's made us more efficient and effective as a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess one downside is that to really access all the features of Asana, you have to pay more, which can be a bit of a limitation. Even though the training helped me understand more about the available features, full access seems to come with an extra cost. Also, the initial setup was okay but required time and focus to fully understand the platform without distractions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes my team more efficient and effective in collaboration and accountability. The calendar and list features help assign tasks and communicate, while reminders keep us on track. It unifies our tools, which boosts efficiency by having everything in one platform.
