Overview
The Things Stack AWS Launcher is the solution to build and operate a private LoRaWAN network within your AWS environment, using AWS CloudFormation. Manage and monitor your remote devices and gateways with an elaborate toolset. Route telemetry data securely to your cloud application, and quickly configure actions in AWS IoT Core.

The Things Enterprise Stack
The Things Enterprise Stack launches on a new EC2 instance. Relational data is stored in a new Amazon RDS instance, state with low latency access is stored in a new Amazon ElastiCache instance and user uploaded profile pictures are stored in an S3 bucket. You can specify existing snapshots for Amazon RDS and ElastiCache to migrate from a previous depoyment. You can also specify an existing S3 bucket for profile pictures.
CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."
