Hootsuite is a very useful tool for identifying key trends and analytics for various accounts.
What do you like best about the product?
I find the ability to post at a scheduled time on Hootsuite is easy and helpful when there is a lot of content to be shared. Our agency shares various types of content daily and this feature is convineint. We use this feature daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not enjoy the new inbox, I prefered the old inbox as it was easier to find and filter copmlaints in order to provide customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When doing quartly social media analysis', Hootsuite helps us understand metrics that we wouldn't be able to identify with a blind eye. For example, we look at which posts performed the best, the demogrpahics our content reaches and our followership each month. This benefits us by allowing our team to shift strategies in order to heighten our performaces.

Incredible Design
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule hundereds of posts is a massive time saver. The ease of use is amazing. This program has cut my workload in half, if not more, and I use it every day! Customer support has been top-notch as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many downsides to be honest, other than the price. My price has gone up a few times over the past 5 years but that is to be expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to schedule daily posts is a massive time consumer. The ability to schedule posts and walk away has saved me thousands of hours of my life!
Visually pleasing and easy self-serve options
What do you like best about the product?
We recently switched to Hootsuite and immediately appreciated the Customer Support. We also were very happy with the Google My Business integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been a few anomolies with settings or the import of photos. The assistance from the Hootsuite team is a good support through these however.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite was beneficial in providing a platform that had ease of use, customization and enhanced reporting.
A once-simple tool that's gotten complicated and pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I value Hootsuite for delivering on its primary purpose - scheduling social media posts. Having used it for several years, I appreciate its consistent reliability. When I first started, the interface was straightforward and intuitive, making it easy to accomplish tasks quickly. But this is no longer the case.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform has become prohibitively expensive, which means I won't be renewing my annual subscription. Hootsuite has overcomplicated itself by trying to incorporate too many features, resulting in a cumbersome user interface. What used to be a simple process now requires multiple clicks just to return to my main streams after scheduling a post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to batch-create and schedule multiple social media posts in one session. This time-saving approach means I can plan and organise my social media content efficiently rather than posting throughout the day.
Powerful tool for achieving efficiencies in managing social media across platforms
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to schedule content across platforms - at the same time, it's easy to edit posts with a few clicks. We use it on a daily basis and also for our reporting needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if AI could be used/incorporated to provide more intuitive insights from a reporting perspective with some specific feedback on what can be done to improve engagement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem and efficiency that Hootsuite has given us is time - we've saved time in being able to schedule posts across platforms. Being able to see all the posts in a calendar view also allow us to get a better idea of content pipeline and mix.
User friendly, great interface
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is great from the perspective of being able to make changes and updates independently, without requiring an account manager to complete the changes. When support has been needed, the representatives are extremely helpful, approachable and responsive.
The onboarding process was very positive, and overall quite seamless.
Integration with Review Trackers has been convenient, and some of the features has made our Google Review responses more consistent and efficient.
The interface itself is easy to read, and not cluttered. The search functionality works very well for compiling information.
The tag feature has allowed us to gather additional information for reporting purposes to understand why our customers are contacting us.
Reporting and Analytics produces digestable and easy to read content, with many predesigned reports available with useful information.

WIthin the reporting feature, it would be more convenient and benefical to be able to drill down for additional information within the charts and graphs for one click access to information.
The autoassign feature to distribute conversations among care agents, so far, does not funtion as expected - although the Hootsuite support team is working through this with us, and we are hopeful for a resolution.
While we really like review trackers, the interface and features, it has been an adjustment to need to check our Google Reviews separately.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to have all conversations on our company pages come through one queue. We can easily see conversation history, images that customers send us, and provide timely responses.
Hootsuite has given us deeper insights into our social media strategy
What do you like best about the product?
The customizability of the analytics allows us to dive deeper into the metrics that matter most to our organization, while also presenting reports that are well formated and don't require additional work to make them ready for Senior Leadership. Implementation of the software was well supported by customer service and its intuitive design has made it easy to train new team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were disapointed with the Hootbio in that in can only be accessed from a single account, which makes vacation coverage a challenge. Some team members are still more comfortable replying to comments and inbox inquiries natively in platform, as Inbox 2.0 is less intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being more strategic with our social strategy, and having deep data points to back up our strategy.
Easy-to-use platform
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to approve and edit content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is not super user-friendly and there's a lot of bugs with approving content. When there are a lot of posts in the queue, I typically get error messages and need to refresh and start the process again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes collaborating among mutiple team members much more efficient. My primary use is approving content so the efficincy aspect is a huge benefit.

Their customer service is equal to none.

They can be pricey and are constantly trying to upsell.

We are in a highly regulated industry and need to approvals workflow in order to be active on social media.
