Quick and cheap, but limited functions
What do you like best about the product?
It's reasonably priced and has most of the functions needed. Good customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as user friendly as expected, and there are simple functions that are missing (making sticky notes on a calendar, for example)

A powerful tool for social media management
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has been a great tool for managing our social media presence across multiple platforms and regions. It has an intuitive dashboard that makes scheduling, monitoring, and analyzes content.
I really like the reporting capabilities and the new AI features.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media reporting and management
Very easy to use social scheduling website
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I am able to schedule posts across multiple platforms at once. I also make use of the analytics feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Hootsuite cannot allow longer character limits on posts being scheduled to Twitter despite the Twitter account that is connected being verified and able to post longer captions. I have to schedule directly on Twitter's website
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to schedule multiple posts at once instead of one by one, this is important when I need to manage 4 social media channels. It saves me a lot of time.
Good tools but not comprehensive enough

The scheduling preview and the overall seamless utility
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics feature are not comprehensive and restrictive. Certain key social media needs are not met, and it's difficult to get help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly not really and it's a little bit disappointing
Hootesuite is very good at being able to organize posts and review social analytics.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Hootesuite is that they are able to show you different charts that show how your socials are doing on engagement. They also provide suggestions for hashtags for each post based on what the caption is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Hootesuite allowed you to be able to add sounds and music to posts... along with other updated features that other planners have for posting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping our business figure out what type of content is most engaging.
It's the perfect tool for social media management; it helps me optimize my time.

What I like the most about Hootsuite is that it's a very easy-to-use and understand tool.

I don't like that we can't tag profiles when scheduling posts.

Hootsuite is helping us boost our KPIs organically through our ambassador program.

It's a little on the pricy side and sometimes customer service can be a little slow.

They help me determine when the posts are best for which audiences!
Easy daily use improving online presence
What do you like best about the product?
It is very user friendly and provides great insight into my organization's social channels. Being able to manage multiple accounts across various platforms all in one place makes sharing events and news from my organization so much easier and effective. It helps us maintain a consistent and engaging online presence.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a little high for what is offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is helping my organization determine which posts are best for specific audiences. It's streamlining communication and allowing us to engage with our audiences more authentically and more often. We are able to promote events and share news effectively by scheduling posts across platforms and analyzing metrics.
Great tool for all social media managers

Love that you can see everything in one place - especially when managing multiple platforms across brands.
What do you dislike about the product?
LinkedIn functionality - but I think that's a LinkedIn con vs. a Hootsuite con. LinkedIn is our primary platform and it doesn't have the best integration for seeing everything in one spot.

Scheduling + reporting. Good for pulling data and seeing trends.
The Best In The Business
What do you like best about the product?
It is rare to find a team outside of your organisation who care so much about helping you achieve your objectives. We have been using Hootsuite and its associated products, such as Talkwaker and Tint, for years now and I wouldn't use any other supplier. Every Hootsuite team member has gone above and beyond for us and currently Alex Wedderburn is helping us implement a major digital transformation project which will bring in enhanced governance and supercharge our impact on social media. The team's expertise in our sector brings so much added value to everything we do with them, it really is like they are an extension of my team. We use Hootsuite and assocaited products multiple times every day. They are extremely easy to use and have intergrated into our workflow really easily. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hootsuite to any organisation as the insights they bring really are game-changing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am really struggling to think of downsides. The only thing I can think of are some of the limits on community management functionality, but I want to be really clear that that is down to the social media platforms' limits rather than Hootsuite's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite gives us, as a large scale and complex organisation, enhanced governance. It also allows us to understand the needs of our audiences and react to rising and ever-evolving issues, through social listening. The platform allows us to collaborate efficiently with team members across the organisation, to save time and effort, and the analytics allow us to measure success with custom metrics which matter to our unique organisation, rather than relying on the rigid metrics which don't serve our needs. Tint allows us to ensure we are only using user-generated content which we have the rights to use, so reducing risk.
