Hootsuite UI and UX Mostly Good, But Could Do Well With Enhanced Features
What do you like best about the product?
I like how intuitive and user-friendly the experience is. From the first moment I logged in, I could figure out what to do and the gist of how things work. I love how it lays things out, it works wonders for my ADHD brain where when something is out of sight, it might as well be out of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are small areas where I wish they focused more on certain inconveniences that make what could make an otherwise seamless experience now become tedious. Particularly, the limitation of the Sharelink only working with the weekly calendar and thus requiring multiple exports to send over the monthly overview to clients. This is frankly really clunky, and introduces a heightened risk for human error. Also, the fact the links exist in a silo and aren't updated live as you make changes is unfortunate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am nuerodivergent, and Social Media Management would be a nightmare if I didn't have a tool like Hootsuite to organize and a schedule tasks in logical and visually appealing and not overstimulating way. And despite its limitations, the fact I can share calendars at all with my clients is a bonus. Saves me a ton of work, I would often spend before working on custom HTML tables with content in them that was visually more appealing than say an excel sheet.

Robust Social Management Platform for Everyone
What do you like best about the product?
They're a social media company that continues to remain focused on their core expertise, which means their products continue to evolve at a rapid pace and allow teams to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to social media management.
What do you dislike about the product?
While they make a great product, I wish they offered more in the way of strategic partnership.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has allowed our cross-functional social media team to bring all scheduling, analytics and social media monitoring under one roof, allowing for easier resource management and faster time-to-publish and respond.
Hootsuite Levels Up Your Social Media Strategy
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has become an invaluable tool for our company in creating and cultivating employee brand ambassadors. Our sales team quickly learned how to use the user-friendly tool. Microsoft Teams app and single sign-on are a bonus. The admin team likes the robust reporting, and the marketing team as a whole benefits from the metrics, particularly the value that quantifies reach into ad dollars. The Hootsuite support staff was highly supportive and responsiveness during implementation and rollout.
What do you dislike about the product?
On an admistrative level, the interface still feels somewhat clunky, and certain features and functionality can be difficult to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Hootsuite primarily for employees to post messages to their LinkedIn connections regarding our company messaging to ensure we are speaking from the same voice.
From Lemon to Lemonade
What do you like best about the product?
We recently switched to Hootsuite from another Social Media monitoring site that was a big fat lemon. Hootsuite has turned my lemon into lemonade, and thank goodness. They had the perfect plan for our business that is easy to use for both helping us track reviews and monitoring all things social media. Their support teams have been great, and integration was simple. I'm in Hootsuite daily to ensure that it's business as usual and that our customers are getting the support they need from us. It's early, but I have a feeling that as we keep learning about Hootsuite and its capabilities, it will only get better and better.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I haven't found something that I truly dislike, again it's early so I'm still learning to navigate the site. As I learn more, I might find something, but coming from a social media monitoring site that did nothing for me, I can see Hootsuite doing the same, in fact they have already improved our business 100-fold with the ease of their site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having everything in one place so I can seamlessly move from one project to another is a time saver and a game changer!
Great Service and Customer Care
What do you like best about the product?
The customer support. They also have a lot of great add-ons to customize your experience to your needs. It also has easy user interface, which I appreciate. And it is very easy to use. I use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only issue is I think the analytics should offer more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite gives us a great read on our members and helps us offer content based on their interests. We struggled with that until the Listening app.

Intuitiveness, AI recommendations and clear overview

Analytics in enterprise are too basic and disconnects too often from networks

All market can plan and publish the global assets with adaptions and translations

The streams section lets you see everything when I go back and tag my content.

Instagram quality drops and crops out images.

Having a place where my 12 regional leads can all know the social media schedule. The system of tagging is great as well.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to build reports and review social media stats across all platforms. Incredibly helpful when we're reviewing the entire year to see what worked well and what didn't. Responsive customer service team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is the integration with Meta. We typically see discrepencies with data being pulled in from the Meta platforms. It also doesn't include collaborative post data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps with annual social reviews, the ease of being able to manage all channels for multiple brands all in one place.

Hootsuite is a great tool for managing a number of social media accounts at one time, with the ability to schedule posts to different platforms and schedule them for the best times.

I can't think of any major downsides of the platform, it's a really effective tool for what I use it for as a marketing manager.

It allows us to schedule posts and manage posting frequency, as well as being able to share drafts around the team.

A great tool for managing sccial content and analysing performance across multiple accounts
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is super easy to use, allows the team to schedule posts in advance which saves time or means you don't need to be online early in the morning or over weekends. It also is great for posting on multiple accounts whether that's on the same social network or different.
The analytics tool are also fantastic. They allow me to analyse and compare our accounts against each other to see where improvements can be made.

Not being able to create reels for Instagram
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite saves me so much time on reporting. I used to have to report on social accounts seperately by exporting from different sources then comparing and analysing. I can do this all in Hootsuite now. It also allows me to easily schedule and post across multiple accounts.
