AWS Advertising and Marketing planning guide for re:Invent 2023
Each year, thousands of attendees from around the world come to Las Vegas for Amazon Web Services (AWS) re:Invent. The AWS event offers an expansive array of presentations, panel discussions, hands-on learning sessions, networking opportunities, and more.
To help attendees navigate relevant sessions and events, the AWS for Advertising & Marketing (AMT) team has created a comprehensive AWS for AMT re:Invent Attendee Guide. We have also provided a list of recommended sessions where attendees can learn how customers in the advertising and marketing industry have solved business challenges and innovate faster by leveraging AWS services and solutions.
Generative AI is on everyone’s mind, and this year attendees will have the opportunity to attend interactive chalk talks and workshops to learn how to leverage AWS generative AI services. Attendees can explore generative AI services through interactive chalk talks, as well as learn from their peers by attending breakout sessions—hearing first-hand how customers haves successfully integrated generative AI into their advertising and marketing workloads.
Re:Invent kicks off November 27 this year, but reserved seating is already under way. Be sure to review your options and sign up for the sessions and events that are of interest. If you still need to register for re:Invent 2023, you can do so here.
If you’re new to re:invent:
- The most important cloud announcements of the year happen during re:Invent keynotes.
- Breakout sessions are lecture-style and one hour long. These sessions take place across the re:Invent campus and cover all kinds of topics at all levels (200–400).
- Chalk Talks are 60-minute interactive, small-group, whiteboarding sessions with AWS experts. They include technical discussions around real-world architecture challenges.
- Lighting Talks are 20-minute sessions covering a key topic at the 100-200 level.
- Workshops are two-hour hands-on sessions where you work in small groups to solve problems using AWS services.
- The AWS Events mobile app helps you plan and navigate your re:Invent experience. if you haven’t already, download it now for iOS or Android.

- This session is intended for developers and data analysts. Learn how companies use AWS technology to interoperate and collaborate more effectively across advertising and marketing platforms to enhance activation and measurement use cases.
- ADM303 | Driving advertising and marketing innovation with generative AI
- 1:30-2:30 PST
- This session is intended for ad technology, product, and engineering leaders. Explore how companies are using AWS machine learning and generative AI capabilities to drive innovation and performance optimization through measurement and analytics use cases. Then hear from AWS technology experts who share best practices that you can apply to innovate faster and transform your business.
- MAE205: NBCUniversal drives media effectiveness through modernized TV
- 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM:
- Changes in consumer behavior, across time, screens, platforms, and channels, has increased complexity for the Advertising ecosystem, and bought forth the need for TV simplification to enable cross platform activation, better data interoperability and integrity. In this breakout session learn how NBCU has partnered with AWS to co-develop products that enable their customers to reach consumers wherever they are efficiently and at scale.
