This is a live, online event hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, 9:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. (PDT). We encourage all senior retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) leaders, such as CEOs, chief technology officers, vice presidents of operations, line of business management, and technical decision makers, to attend this new and noteworthy event.

Once you’ve made it to the registration page, fill out your contact information and tell us a bit about yourself. Remember to double-check your information and set up your username and password. Retail sustainability: looking toward the future with the National Retail Federation
Consumers, investors, and regulators are asking retailers around the world one thing: How are you addressing sustainability concerns? As one of the world’s largest trade associations for retailers, the NRF helps the retail industry tell its sustainability story more effectively. In this session, vice president of CSR and sustainability Scot Case will explore the risks and opportunities retailers would be wise to address and how the NRF is framing sustainability on behalf of the industry.
In his role, Scot leads the NRF’s Sustainability Council and supports retailers’ efforts to use their businesses to make the world a better place for everyone. He has previously worked with organizations including the White House, the World Bank, Walmart, McDonald’s Corporation, Johnson & Johnson, The Walt Disney Company, United States Environmental Protection Agency, and federal, state, and local governments around the world.

The role of analytics in driving sustainability at Incisiv
As sustainability evolves from a culturally driven initiative to a business-strategy initiative within retail and CPG, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technology will play an increasingly important role in the achievement of these goals. In this session, learn from David Weinand, chief customer officer, and Gaurav Pant, chief insight officer, about the role AI/ML will play in sustainability efforts, the current state of adoption, the future plans across each industry, and the areas where retailers and brands see the most value. You will also get some recommendations on where to start.
Dave is the cofounder and chief customer officer for Incisiv, a consumer industry insights firm that works on benchmarking services, go-to-market strategy, and content services. Prior to Incisiv, he spent 9 years at Edgell Communications/EnsembleIQ in various roles that included general manager of the technology portfolio, publisher of RIS News, and cofounder of EKN Research.
Gaurav is a digital transformation expert focused on the consumer industries of retail, consumer products, lodging, and restaurants and leads Incisiv’s digital executive council The Speakeasy—a membership community of over 3,500 retailer and brand executives. Gaurav’s prior experience includes cofounding EKN Research and leading consulting and products for Tata Consultancy Services in North America. Gaurav is an active adviser and investor in early-stage consumer industry startups.

Disrupting the water market by moving beyond the bottle at Britvic
Exploring a new strategy to provide tasty, healthy hydration in a sustainable way, Britvic is one of the largest suppliers of branded, still soft drinks and branded, carbonated soft drinks in Great Britain. In this session, learn from Noel Dickson, product director for Beyond the Bottle, about how Britvic worked with AWS to develop a new delivery system to meet consumer needs, partner with retailers, and much more.
Noel has worked in the CPG sector in a variety of commercial, operational, and technology leadership roles. As product director, Noel leads the proposition development and delivery of sustainable, healthy digital innovation—developing in-house capability, driving customer engagement, and working closely with trusted technology partners.
